You can get there by taxi, ride-hailing app, or public transportation. The trip by car may take approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
By subway:
The closest subway station to the Urca area is Botafogo Station.
From Botafogo Station, you can use additional transportation toward Urca. CBPF also provides directions using the subway connection to the Urca area, getting off near the Benjamin Constant Institute. Rua Dr. Xavier Sigaud is close to the institute.
By bus:
The Urca area is served by bus lines connecting it to Botafogo, Copacabana, Ipanema, and other South Zone neighborhoods.
For participants staying in Copacabana, Ipanema, or Leblon, we recommend checking the available routes in a public transportation app before traveling, as itineraries and schedules may change.
By car:
Urca can be reached via Avenida Pasteur, the main access road to the neighborhood.
